How to be Thankful

I live in the fastest pace society know to the history of mankind. I live in a country where unless you befit from it, you pass it by. America the land of dreams. I like to call it America the land of takers. I love America please don't mistake that. But at the same time I fell that Americans are wasting so much but not being THANKFUL. I have so many things to be thankful for and I want to take a minute to say thank you for those things. I have the world' most perfect daughter. As seen above, I have great roommates, Friends who are more like family, a mentor who help change my life Jackie Anderson, and now I am able to work from home thanks to a little company called Ameriplan. That is just the short list of things that I appericate in my life.

Well I hope everyone had a good weekend. The weather was a little crazy for me. Could not make up it's mind if it was going to be Hot (normal for FL) or cold ( which I prefer), Of course it is totally odd to my friends as I was born in Cali and raised in Fl. But hey you spend 6 years in Chicago and discover this amazing thing called seasons and see how it feel to be stuck in endless summer after that. Oh the good old days of Chitown here it would still be called late night right now and not early morning. Give the time of year I am sure it is a brisk 30 degrees or so, maybe even some fresh snow on the ground. Oh how I miss that city if you can't tell. So time go back soon. Great thing about working from home is never had to worry about asking for the time off for things like that, LOL! And of course have not slept all night I can not have the dread of going into the office on no sleep but instead adjust my schedule and get some sleep in. (Big plus as I am total night owl). So other than Bi-polar weather my weekend was filled with some great things. I just bought and finished reading a new book. The title is "The Warmth of other suns". AMAZING Book. It is in a uquine way a history book. It i a book that took me though some deep emotions, connecting me to people I would have be honored to meet, even if they were not honored in their time. It also gave me a  new respect for things that we have now in American that without people like who are this book we would never have had. Ok never is harsh word, so let me rephrase into it would have been a long time in coming. I am very aware of the many social based issues we have in our society today. For 1. Radical, well my daughter is half black and half white.(and trust me when I tell you the southern side of the family aint to happy about that) 2. Homeless, For a period of time that I spend in Chicago I was homeless. I will talk more about it in other blogs but I was blessed enough to find Deborah's Place. (http://www.deborahsplace.org/) If ever need a worthy cause this place is one. It is all about empowering homeless women in the Chicago Area and helping them recover from the cycle of homeless. 3. I have dealt Bi-polar disorder my whole life, have received the the news when I was only 7 years old. Yet even with all that and more this simple book made me go  Thank You! I cried at times reading it, just like any person would as they got to knew this people and this writer is so gifted that you walk away feeling that you knew them. People like them renew my believe in things, reminded me of while I deal with so may taboo in my own life. this people have made it Ok to talk about them and even air in public instead of trying to hide in shame. It is a book that I would tell any America to pick up and read. I would tell any person to pick up and read. But I will ware you, it is a book that will take you on an emotional journey so be prepared for it. Well I need to try to get some sleep before the sun comes up on me. And after sharing so much I feel drained but in a great way.So good night cyber world. And always feel free to share your thoughts with me.
Pay it forward.
This about 3 years old now but that is my future Dr or whatever lol

Good Morning

Good Morning Cyber World. I am up at what I would say for me is wayyyyy early. It is 9:30 am. I am not what you would call a morning person so yes this is very early for me. But I have career that allows me to sleep in. That's right. I am my own boss. So I do not have worry about hitting the snooze button 3 or 4 times and then getting up and going into work. Instead I wake up and take a minute to Thank God for putting a great company in my life. Because this company not only allows me freedom to work at home, but it dose this while providing a service that is desperately needed in our society. My company offers Discount Health Service Plans to those that need or can not get traditional insurance. Now you may have insurance already and feel that I am not talking to you. However, let me ask you this 1 question, Do you take full advantage of your insurance or instead in the end is your insurance costing you? Food for thought right? I mean really think about it. After you pay your monthly perimun and co pays and meet your yearly dectuablie. How many times will you then have used it to go to the Dr and is it cost effective? You pay all this for Health,Vision, and if you are truly lucky Dental. Well with Ameriplan you don't have those hoops to jump though. You pay a small monthly fee(depending on what works best for you) and then you have access to our discounts. Where you will not only save at the Dr office and in the end your pocket but where depends on the level of service you want will save in other area of your life as well. Here is the link for you to check it out yourself http://www.EveryoneBenefits.com/AThomsen. Try the link it can be life changing.

Wow I have been a horrible blogger. I have not been on in here in along time. I have to take the time out to deal with my own personal health issues. For years I have suffered though Lower Back pain. Not wanting to become a person dependent on pain medication for relieve I have spent the last 17 years just dealing with it. Also not have a insurance heavily influenced this. Pain Management is not a cheap or easy road for those without. Pain meds can cost the same amount as rent depending on what you are on.And Dr visit which have to happen every month well run the upwards of 250 or more per visit and that is cheap. That is why in today's economy more than ever we need plans like Ameriplan. No it is not traditional insurance, it great discount for the people who can not afford insurance or who get turned down my the insurance companies. Want to know more please go to this linkhttp://www.MyBenefitsPlus.com/AThomsen This company is helping me to change my life because I know sit her pain free after a back injection from a pain management Dr. Thank you Ameriplan. It is also allowing me to work from home and spend time with my daughter and family while earning a great income. Blog soon I promise. Good night everyone

However that is past now and the training is over. I want to share with yall what amazing company Ameriplan is. This is somewhere not only where I can save thousands of dollars in medical cost but as now have the chance to work for them and past those savings on to other people in need of them. Welcome

Welcome to my spot. I am happy to meet you and hope you find it informative and fun to read my ramblings and rants and raves. To start let me give you a little background. My name is Christy and I have for years not joking called myself the Mommy Jedi or Jedi mommy. Before motherhood is was Jedi Christy. Thinking on this now I should be Jedi Knight by now but that is besides the point. I call myself Jedi for one simple reason. I am in love with Star Wars. A long time ago and a galaxy very near here I discovered these movies and they changed my life forever, I may have only be 5 at the time. LOL. I can remember the scene. Princess, Han, Chewy, and Skywalker have just escaped from the garbage compacter  and monster. Han upsets Leia by shooting his blaster off and as she strides forward she "Will someone get this walking carpet out of my way?" That was only it took a STRONG female lead and I was hooked. I can to this day watch Esp. 5-8 over and over again and cry, laugh, and wish for different outcome for Darth Vader every single time. Want to test my skill go ahead ask a question. (just remember MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU). Now that all my nerdiness has been show let's move on. I am the proud mother of a great 5 year old little girl. She is my reason for living. In the 5 almost 6 years she has been born my life has seen alot of changes. Some good some bad adn some great. Such is life and balance within. The biggest change is a couple of months ago she moved up north with her father where is she attending school. Missing her 1st yr of kindergarten is far harder that I thought it would be. However the blessing in that is this. While looking for away to be able to not just move up there to be with her but also offer her a great life is I came across a life changer again. I am now invested in a work from home opportunity. It is part of Ameriplan. Trm I will go more into why this appealed to me and more of my background. In the mean time be blessed and MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!
